About Neeranchal

Government of India launched the Neeranchal National Watershed (World Bank) Project, with the assistance of World Bank (50% support through loan), to address the needs of the farmers using latest technologies for better results in the Watershed areas under Watershed Development Component of the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY).

The Project is implemented in nine (9) States viz Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan and Telangana & funding pattern as 60:40 between Centre and the Project implementing States.
